Technical Paper Submission Abstract & Paper Submission Status

© Copyright 1999-2002, ITherm and JM Technology Solutions, Inc.

After submitting an abstract you should receive periodic e-mail messages notifying you when your abstract is modified. If you have lost your Claim Strings or want to check the status of your abstract submission, please fill out the form below to have them e-mailed to you. ITherm personnel will review, categorize and change the status of your abstract submission and technical paper. When you receive an e-mail notifying you of a change, the new "Status" should be described to you along with any action you need to take. Here is a description of the different status settings:
  • NEW - initial setting when the abstract is first submitted
  • DUPLICATE - ITherm personnel has determined that the abstract submission was a duplicate by the same author (this is an ending state for the abstract and the abstract will be ignored from now on)
  • REVIEWED - ITherm personnel has reviewed the abstract but has not accepted or declined the abstract
  • ACCEPTED - ITherm personnel has reviewed and accepted the abstract for the next conference, the author is invited to submit a draft and final version of the paper
  • NOT ACCEPTED - ITherm personnel has reviewed the abstract and declined it for the next conference (this is an ending state for the abstract because the author cannot submit draft or final versions of the paper if the abstract is in this state)
  • DRAFT PAPER SUB. - the author has submitted a draft of the paper using the ITherm website (this phase is set automatically by the ITherm website when the paper is received electronically)
  • ADVANCE PROGRAM - ITherm personnel has reviewed and accepted the draft paper for the Advance Program; pending incorporation of any reviewer's comment. The authors should submit the final version of the paper in Adobe PDF format via the website by the deadline.
  • DRAFT PAPER REJECT - ITherm personnel has reviewed the draft paper and it was declined for this conference. This is an ending state for the abstract; no action is required.
  • FINAL PAPER SUB. - the author has submitted the final version of the paper using the ITherm website (this phase is set automatically by the ITherm website when the paper is received electronically)
  • FINAL PROGRAM - ITherm personnel has reviewed and accepted the final paper; however, the authors needs to complete the IEEE Copyright form and register for the conference by the deadline.
  • FINAL PAPER REJECT - ITherm personnel has reviewed the final paper and it was declined for this conference. This is an ending state for the abstract; no action is required.
  • COMPLETE - the paper submission process has been completed (initial registration/publication fee has been collected and IEEE copyright release form has been signed);
  • WITHDRAWN - the paper has been withdrawn; this is an ending state for the abstract; no action is required.
